Former Cowboy Darren Woodson doesn’t think Jamal Adams will end up in Dallas

For what feels like years now, Dallas Cowboys fans have been sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear some good news involving Jamal Adams. The superstar safety has made it clear he doesn’t want to continue playing with the New York Jets, with Dallas one of the reported teams on his wishlist.

With rumors continuing to heat up regarding the two sides, everyone in Dallas is hopeful Adams will end up joining the team in Arlington and help them make a Super Bowl push. However, if you ask former Cowboy Darren Woodson, that’s likely not going to happen.

Jamal Adams has a list of eight teams he’d like to be traded to

Way to ruin the fun for everyone, Darren! This is a bummer for Dallas supporters no doubt, but Adams probably doesn’t love seeing this either. He’s made it quite clear he’d love to go suit up for Mike McCarthy and his team. If Adams were to join the Dallas secondary, they’d feel like legit Super Bowl contenders. Adding a piece like that would make them dangerous.

Alas, if you ask Woodson, things just aren’t trending in that direction. Remember, the Cowboys aren’t the only team on Adams’ preferred list. They’re joined by the Seahawks, Eagles, 49ers, Chiefs, Texans, Buccaneers and Ravens.

Whoever ends up landing Adams, should the Jets trade him, will be adding one of the best defensive backs in the NFL. For now, it just doesn’t feel like Dallas will be the lucky team to do so.
