Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry looks like a beast during workouts

The Tennessee Titans were easily the surprise team of 2019. Mike Vrabel and his guys shocked the NFL world twice last postseason, taking down the Patriots and following that up by knocking off the Ravens. Star running back Derrick Henry was a huge piece of the offense, and he’s only going to get better and better moving forward.

Need further proof of that? Clips from one of Henry’s recent offseason workouts was posted on social media and the man looks like an absolute savage.

If you’re a defensive lineman, linebacker or defensive back, how can you even think about tackling this kind of a machine? Honestly, bringing down Henry running at full speed feels like an impossible task. He’d just lower his shoulder and tumble you over with ease.

In that workout clip above, Henry running up a hill with ease and catching the pigskin is impressive. Then, he goes on to show his footwork and agility during some drills, all while looking like he could line up at linebacker too if he wanted to eat up quarterbacks for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Former Alabama running back Derrick Henry rushed for 1,540 yards with Tennessee last season

Forcing 136 missed tackles since 2017, Henry is only going to see that number explode in the coming years.

The former Alabama running back is also coming off an incredible 2019 season. Last fall and winter, Henry rushed for 1,540 yards and 16 touchdowns. Congrats to anyone who had him on their fantasy football team.

Averaging more than five yards per carry, he was simply sensation for Vrabel and the Tennessee offense. Now, he’s ready to bring even more excitement to the AFC this season. Titans fans are surely fired up to see what he can do.
