Pittsburgh Steelers

Steven Nelson – Steven Nelson should have been a Pro Bowler last season in his first year for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Unfortunately, Nelson has been overlooked for his entire NFL career, including his better than advertised first four seasons in the league with the Chiefs. Last year he allowed 0 touchdowns on over 1,000 snaps, but the lack of turnovers (1 interception) likely kept voters from noticing. He’s a lockdown corner to those who know him, however.

San Francisco 49ers

Fred Warner – It feels as if this will be the last possible year we can call Fred Warner underrated. While he’s no secret to 49ers fans, the third-year linebacker is so good in the heart of the 49ers defense that he’s bound to be a household name sometime soon. The Pro Bowl should have called his name last year, but he’ll be in the spotlight soon enough.

Seattle Seahawks

Greg Olsen – Greg Olsen’s best days—including his Pro Bowl days—are far behind him, but very few people are paying attention to just how big of an upgrade Olsen is at tight end for a contender like the Seahawks. Last season, Olsen had the likes of Kyle Allen throwing to him but he still caught 52 passes for 597 yards and 2 touchdowns. If he can remain healthy, Russ Wilson will love the outlet he provides and Olsen could be in for a surprising year of production.
