New York Giants

Dalvin Tomlinson – Dalvin Tomlinson has been a staple in the heart of the Giants defensive front ever since he was taken in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Last season, the highly effective run stopper unveiled a newfound ability to get after the passer and put up 9 quarterback hits and 3.5 sacks in the process. If he can develop even further, an already valuable performer will start turning heads around the NFL.

New York Jets

Steve McClendon – If you were to look up the words “quiet performer”, you’d likely find Steve McClendon’s career statistics as a woefully underappreciated yet reliable run stopper in the heart of NFL defenses for the last decade. Whether suiting up for the Steelers or Jets, McClendon has been a dependable force in the middle who has never received any real acclaim which makes him a perfect fit for our list.

Philadelphia Eagles

Javon Hargrave – The Eagles scored one of the best defensive signings of the offseason when they inked Javon Hargrave. The former Steelers lineman was ranked as the 8th best interior lineman by Pro Football Focus and at only 27-years-old, the Eagles should enjoy his prime years next to Fletcher Cox. Now he should thrive in Jim Schwartz’s defensive scheme and could put up much better sack totals than you might expect.
