9. Chase Young, DE, Washington Redskins

Chase Young has yet to take the field as a professional player. Though, he is still one of the more intriguing and exciting players to pay attention to. Praised as one of the best pass-rushing prospects and years, he will have a lot of eyes drawn to him as a rookie.

Young was drafted second overall by the Washington Redskins in the most recent NFL Draft. At Ohio State, he was truly unstoppable. He tore offensive linemen apart during his college days.

Playing three seasons at Ohio State, Young ravaged offenses and came away with 30.5 sacks and 40.5 tackles for loss. Last year, he had 16.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles, and 21 tackles for loss.

Most football fans watched another former Buckeye product named Nick Bosa have a strong rookie season in San Francisco with the 49ers in 2019.

Bosa’s first campaign left many in awe, and even more people are wondering how great Young will now be. The comparisons will continue to be made, and the expectations for Young are firmly through the roof.

The Redskins will look to rebuild the team culture under new head coach Ron Rivera. Having Rivera in the room with Young should excite fans. He brings a feeling of legitimacy that has not been sensed around the Redskins in years.

Young might take time to adjust to the NFL, and that is expected. Though, once he is acclimated, he can quickly take over the league in the same manner that Bosa did. The NFC East may have just gotten an absolute game wrecker who can create chaos for years.
