Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently high on Gardner Minshew II. But for how long? Minshew had a solid rookie season and took Nick Foles‘ job as the starter.

With Fields in the upcoming draft, the Jaguars have a chance to draft a special player who could be the best quarterback in franchise history. Perhaps a player like Fields would keep half back Leonard Fournette and others happy.

Just last season, the squad had to part ways with their 25-year-old star cornerback and three-time Pro Bowler Jalen Ramsey. Ramsey’s discontent with the organization led to his departure.

A player like Fields not only gives this team a promising signal-caller for years to come, but possibly a player that his teammates will believe in.

Earlier this offseason, Fournette suggested the team sign quarterback Cam Newton to compete for the starting job with Minshew. The indications point that this team is not on the same page with Minshew as the clear cut starter.  Perhaps a player of Fields caliber would have its players fully behind the organization.
