3 players who won’t be on the Las Vegas Raiders roster after 2020 season

How much further can Jon Gruden mold the Las Vegas Raiders into his image?
Back in 2018, the Raiders organization opened up their checkbook to bring Jon Gruden out of the “Monday Night Football” booth to be the teams’ head coach for ten years. To further entice him, owner Mark Davis parted ways with general manager Reggie McKenzie to give Gruden full control over the roster. Goodbye Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper, and hello to Josh Jacobs, Clelin Ferrell, Johnathan Abram, Henry Ruggs, and Damon Arnette!
The upcoming NFL season is important for the Raiders. Not only is this their first season in the Sin City, but there could be further roster turnover at the start of the 2021 league year. The Raiders have a staggering 41 impending free agents at season’s end, and have some uncertainty at certain positions.
Did the Raiders ever have trouble in their secondary last season. Their first round selection in Johnathan Abram tore his rotator cuff and labrum in his first NFL game after delivering a trademark vicious hit, leaving the safety position in shambles. That resulted in the Raiders surrendering 4,107 passing yards last season, which was the eighth-most in the league.
The Raiders wisely addressed their need by signing veteran Damarious Randall, whom is coming off a down year with the Cleveland Browns. Even though Randall allowed just 24 completions on 42 targets for a rather tame 310 yards, he did give up an unideal eight touchdowns. You can attribute those poor numbers to the Browns inexperienced defensive backs.
Randall has a chance at redemption in 2020. He’s signed for this season alone, and if he thrives alongside Abram, Trayvon Mullen, and Prince Amukamara, he can cash in after the season. The reality is Randall will sign elsewhere once the new league year begins.
