The Atlanta Braves need to start looking for stars at the deadline.
The shortened 2020 MLB season might make the race for the NL East crown a bit more wild and unpredictable, but the Atlanta Braves should be considered favorites once again due to their stacked lineup bursting with young stars, improved starting rotation, and impressive collection of prospects.
Braves fans should feel good about their chances in 2020, but getting complacent is a good way to miss out on the best trade targets in the MLB while competitors like the Washington Nationals and Philadelphia Phillies beef up their roster when Aug. 31 rolls around. As it stands right now, the Braves could stand to add a dynamic middle infielder, another elite relief pitcher, and a starter to take over the No. 5 spot in the rotation. Luckily, there are plenty of targets out there ripe for the picking if the Braves get aggressive at the deadline.
