Darian Thompson had a solid 2017 campaign with the Giants in a season that saw him have 75 tackles, six pass breakups, and an interception. In 2018, Thompson was cut by New York, signed onto Arizona’s practice squad, and then signed onto Dallas’ 53-man roster.
Thompson played sparingly on special teams throughout the 2018 season with Dallas, but proved his worth in an expanded role in 2019. With 45 tackles and 1.5 sacks, Thompson parlayed his 2019 into a two-year contract extension with the Cowboys.
