3. 40. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. CP. San Francisco Giants. Tony Watson. player

The Dodgers already traded for Watson, an All-Star with the Pittsburgh Pirates, at the 2017 deadline, why not pick him up again? Watson has spent the last two seasons with the San Francisco Giants, posting a 3.30 ERA in that span, but the fact he’s on a Giants team that is once again projected to occupy the cellar of the NL West could force the Giants to sell their best relief pitcher. If they can get over giving him away to the Dodgers, Friedman should pounce at the opportunity.

The Dodgers should feel more than fine with Joe Kelly and Kenley Jansen pitching the eighth and ninth inning, respectively, but they could stand to add one of the best left-handed middle relievers in the game, all the while not giving the hated Giants any high-ceiling prospects that could come back to bite them later.
