NBC’s streaming platform Peacock has finally arrived boasting an impressive lineup of original and licensed content. All kinds of great movies and TV shows make up the fledgling service’s remarkable library, but that is only the beginning.
The NBC-owned platform has big things in store for the future, and an exciting slate of titles is on the way, making the Peacock experience something fans will not want to miss. From classic hits to intriguing original content, there are so many reasons to get excited about the new streaming option.
Here are all the great movies and TV shows Peacock has coming!
Original dramas coming to Peacock
Battlestar Galactica – Reboot of the 1970s sci-fi series from Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail.
Hatching Twitter – Anthology series that’ll base its first installment on Nick Bilton’s best-selling book about the creation of that social network.
Dr. Death – Based on the true-crime podcast, starring Jamie Dornan, Alec Baldwin, and Christian Slater.
Angelyne – Limited series from Emmy Rossum about a surgically enhanced LA pop-culture icon.
One of Us Is Lying – Based on the best-selling young adult mystery-thriller.
Armas De Mujer – Starring Kate del Castillo, a dramedy from the team behind Telemundo’s La Reina del Sur.
Queer as Folk reboot.
A kids-version of The Tonight Show.
Original comedy coming to Peacock
Rutherford Falls – Starring Ed Helms, who also co-created the show with Mike Schur and Sierra Teller Ornelas.
Straight Talk – From Rashida Jones, about two main characters with opposing ideologies forced into an odd coupling.
Saved by the Bell – Reboot of the original series with original cast members including Elizabeth Berkley and Mario Lopez,
The Punky Brewster – Reboot of the original series starring Soleil Moon Frye as a grownup version of Punky brewster.
A.P. Bio – New season starring Glenn Howerton and Patton Oswalt.
The Adventure Zone – Dantasy animated comedy series based on the Dungeons & Dragons podcast and best-selling graphic novel series.
Clean Slate – Laverne Cox plays a trans woman who returns to the state of Alabama and reunites with her father after 17 years.
Expecting – Produced by Mindy Kaling, about a single woman who asks her gay best friend to be her sperm donor.
Division One – Coming-of-age comedy about an underdog women’s collegiate soccer team, produced by Amy Poehler.
MacGruber – Will Forte stars in, writes and produces this comedy series based on the SNL sketch and a movie in 2010.
Girls5Eva – Produced by Tina Fey about a one-hit-wonder girl group from the ’90s that reunites for one more shot at stardom.
Lady Parts – Comedy about a female Muslim punk band, which aired on Channel 4 in the UK.
Code 404, a cop comedy.
Hitmen – Sitcom starring Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins about inept contract killers.
Five Bedrooms – About five people who buy a house together.

Who Wrote That – Saturday Night Live docuseries from creator Lorne Michaels, exploring the famous personalities in front of and behind the camera.
The Amber Ruffin Show – Weekly late-night show starring Ruffin and executive produced by Seth Meyers.
Real Housewives Mash-up – Spinoff of Bravo’s The Real Housewives franchise.
Dream Team 2020 – Documentary series that goes behind-the-scenes with the USA Basketball players on their journey to Tokyo.
United States of Speed – Features the American runners leading Team USA to take on the domination of Jamaica’s Usain Bolt.
Run Through the Line – Showcases the creation of Nike.
The Greatest Race – Interviews swimmers on both sides of the epic 4×100 relay at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
