LeBron James has an opinion about Adrian Wojnarowski’s ESPN suspension.

When Adrian Wojnarowski gets suspended by ESPN, that’ll catch the attention of even LeBron James.

The Senior NBA Insider for ESPN was suspended by his employer for his reply email to United States Senator Josh Hawley over promoting other causes on the back of NBA players’ jerseys in the bubble. Outkick’s Ryan Glasspiegel was the first to break the news of Wojnarowski’s suspension late Saturday night. Obviously, Twitter hated ESPN’s decision regarding Wojnarowski.

As expected, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has an opinion on the best NBA reporter in the business’ suspension. He tweeted out “#FreeWoj” in support of Wojnarowski, with a black fist bumping a white fist emoji-style, because that’s how to get the point across on Twitter.

LeBron James is an ardent supporter of the #FreeWoj movement on Twitter.

Wojnarowski’s suspension may be without pay, but it’s not going to last too long. He’s got NBA bubble games to report on in the coming weeks down in Orlando. ESPN is going to need its top league insider to give us all the scoops we crave inside the bubble. If someone catches a fish in Lake Buena Vista we haven’t seen on the internet, we can count on Wojnarowski to help us out.

Regardless of your political leanings, it’s never a good idea to respond to United States senator with a seven-letter, two-word message with an expletive in there from your work email. That’s never going to go well for the sender of the profane response email, no matter how you or anybody may disagree with Senator Hawley’s message. ESPN is following company protocol here.

#FreeWoj isn’t going to have ESPN overturn its suspension of Wojnarowski in mid-July. He’ll be back in action in two weeks to cover NBA life from the bubble. If #FreeWoj signifies anything, it says that the Twitterverse appreciates the job Wojnarowski does every day giving his followers all the best and most important NBA scoops. Without him, they must look elsewhere for NBA news.

James in full support of the #FreeWoj movement comes as absolutely no surprise at all.
