Shaquille O’Neal assisted a stranded woman on the side of the road.

Shaquille O’Neal has continued to prove his heart is as big as he is and we absolutely love that.

A police officer’s dashcam caught the whole thing and was circulating Twitter today. Apparently the former Los Angeles Laker witnessed someone in distress on a Florida highway. The car had gotten a flat tire and was stuck in the center divider of the busy multi-lane freeway. O’Neal reportedly checked on the driver and stayed with them until Highway Patrol arrived.

“He fist-bumped Deputies Purington and Dillon before going on his way,” the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook (h/t ABC News) “Hey Basketball Cop Foundation you’re not the only one that knows Shaq.”

The whole thing went down on Interstate 75 near Gainesville on Monday and has since caught traction all over the internet.

Shaquille O’Neal has a history of good deeds

This is not the first thing that O’Neal has done selflessly for others. Just recently he paid for the funeral of an 11-year-old boy, Keshon Batiste, who had died in a car accident in Lousiana. Additionally, he also paid for a suit and shoes for a child in need.

O’Neal has a lengthy resume with the NBA playing for teams like Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics between 1992 and 2011.
