Washington is hiring an attorney to prepare for whatever report is coming out
The Washington NFL team is preparing to deal with further controversy.
Dan Snyder finally came to his senses, thanks to immense financial pressure, and retired the “Redskins” name in Washington. This move was long overdue and the franchise just began the process of moving forward.
Yet the past is still haunting the team as there has been a rumored report set to drop at any minute. Media members throughout the NFL world have been cryptically tweeting about said report and the most we know is that the Washington Post is behind the story.
This has caused Snyder to lawyer up.
The Washington Post is preparing a story about its NFL team that is expected to highlight the culture that is existed. Within the past week, front office members Richard Mann III and Alex Santos, as well as radio play-by-play voice Larry Michael, all left the organization.

Hiring a lawyer right before this report is about to drop is another example of Snyder being the least proactive owner in sports. He only acts when there is no other option and this report could end up being something that ruins him thanks to his inaction.
However, fans don’t know if that is true. This could be a huge scandal implicating Snyder, or it could be more about a toxic culture that he didn’t know about from his pedestal as owner. Several individuals leaving the organization this month shows something is not right.
His franchise has been accused of using cheerleaders essentially as escorts in the past, so this report seems to be about something else. Something bad was going on in the building and hiring a lawyer points toward Snyder getting worried.
