5. Minnesota Golden Gophers Home/Away Uniforms 1992-95

I personally think that the Minnesota Golden Gophers have some of the best looking uniforms in college football today. The Golden Gophers are coming off one of their greatest seasons in program history as Minnesota continues to rise to be one of the best teams in not just the West division but in the entire Big Ten Conference. But unfortunately, this is not going to help them from cracking the top five or list.

If a team wears a terrible uniform, the least they could do is have some success wearing said uniform. Whether it be winning that single game or posting a winning record throughout the time the uniforms were worn, forgiveness can be considered for a fashion faux pas. But during the seasons that stretch from 1992-1995, the Minnesota Golden Gophers went 12-32 and did not look good while doing it.

What the heck is up with the double “M” on the Golden Gophers uniforms? One “M”, sure but two?! And then the bottom of the “M’s” are connected by a line that runs on the shoulder sleeves and the back of the jersey. It looks like an EKG along their jersey but with how these four seasons went, maybe it is a good representation of the team’s performance.

Minnesota is also high on the list because they decided to wear this uniform combo for four seasons. But hey things are much better in Minneapolis and P.J. Fleck has everyone rowing the boat now.
