The best teams in the modern NFL have talent all throughout their respective rosters. That doesn’t mean stars aren’t required to win championships. On the contrary, the best teams in the league understand how important it is to populate every area of their roster with legitimate stars.

That doesn’t mean each star will have a big name. Despite the media attention focused on the NFL, a large number of players seem to fly under-the-radar every year. This piece will identify 10 players who aren’t getting the positive attention they deserve. Some will be high-profile players who deserve to be mentioned among the league’s elite.

10. Tyler Higbee

Higbee blew up in Sean McVay’s offense last season and not many people seem to have noticed. Elevating his catch total from 24 receptions in 2018 to 69 grabs in 2019 shows that he is one of the better tight ends in the league.

His lack of elite athleticism will prevent him from ever being an All-Pro, but that doesn’t mean he can’t continue to produce above-average stats for the foreseeable future. Higbee could even get enough volume to put up a 1,000-yard receiving season for Los Angeles.

There aren’t many tight ends in the league who can flirt with that level of production. He’s not a superstar, but he’s an above-average weapon for an offense that is short on talent at the skill positions.
