Can somebody please get Andy Reid some sweet and delicious brownies?

Andy Reid is a simple man, with one request: He needs some brownies, please.

The Kansas City Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champions. Nobody can ever question Reid for coming up painfully short in the NFL playoffs again. He’s been a champion in spirit since his days crushing the competition in Punt, Pass, Kick, but he’s now the head coach of a championship team. He’s also getting his best defensive player back in defensive tackle Chris Jones.

As part of Jones’ new long-term deal he inked with the Chiefs, Reid has but one simple request: He demands brownies be sent to his office because apparently the Katz Brothers’ family recipe for the delicious chocolatey morsel is spectacular. Will Jones’ representation oblige? Can we please get Big Red some brownies? I’ve never been more invested in someone else’s quest for brownies.

If Andy Reid is denied brownies as part of a negotiation tactic, we riot.

There are a lot of mean things you can do to someone on the football field, but to deny Reid a portion of brownies has to be among the cruelest. You know he will put on his Sunday best (as in, his best Tommy Bahama) to enjoy these tasty treats from the Katz Brothers. Reid used to do Junk Food Fridays because he’s awesome, and who doesn’t love food that’s bad for you?

The Chiefs could have let Jones play on the franchise tag and said goodbye after the 2020 campaign. Jones might have gotten paid on a new contract, but what if it was by a bad team? He’ll never be as lucky as he was to go from Dan Mullen in college at Mississippi State to Reid with the Chiefs in the NFL. There are a lot of dumb meatheads out there who will ruin your football life.

Next. One of these five NFL quarterbacks could win MVP soon. dark

If Reid is not given more than his fair share of brownies, he should hold Jones out of all future Chiefs games until his demands are met. If you thought Jones was going to hold out this year, think again. Looks like the shoe is one the other foot with Reid. Again, his demands are not unreasonable, as he just wants a delicious plate of Katz Brothers brownies. Make it happen.

Reid should absolutely make a video eating brownies with Jones once they arrive at his office.
