1. Atlanta Braves

The Atlanta Braves seemed to be facing total disaster when four players, including Freddie Freeman, tested positive for COVID-19. Freeman reportedly had a fever over 104 and his condition caused Nick Markakis to opt out of the season.

The Braves then landed on Yasiel Puig, only for him to test positive before signing the deal. Now Dietrich has hit the market at the perfect time.

A healthy Dietrich adds the depth and experience the team lost with Markakis and was looking for with Puig. The team is well aware of how fast plans can change and a healthy Dietrich would be a great addition to the roster. He also played in the NL East from 2013-2018 with the Miami Marlins.

Puig was the best option out there in terms of outfielders. The only other decent veteran outfielder out there is Carlos Gonzalez and he has seen a steep decline in recent years. And Dietrich is more than just an outfielder, making him that much more of an intriguing option.

Dietrich is not going to show up in any new city and earn starting time right away. But he has played in well over 100 games in each of the past four seasons and is just what the Braves need now after missing out on several other players.
