The NBA bubble is getting its own barbershop

The NBA bubble is getting its own barbershop and the players rejoice.

There will be no quarantine ‘fros and quarantine flows inside of the NBA bubble any longer.

Having a lot of hair is a lot of work. As humans, we’ve all waited a bit too long to get a haircut before. It happens, especially in the age of the coronavirus. While some NBA players have had to delay their bi-weekly hair appointments, the bubble down in Walt Disney World is getting a barbershop. We know this because Tiago Splitter told us so on Twitter.

The Brooklyn Nets assistant coach and the former big man with the San Antonio Spurs and the Atlanta Hawks snapped a picture of the barbershop being built on the grounds of the most wonderful place on earth. With hairlines out of wack and the Central Florida humidity getting the best of all the hoopers ‘dos, seeing a pop-up barbershop is a sight to behold.

NBA players can go get their hair done down in the Orlando bubble now.

Whether a player covets a fade, a mohawk or a buzz, these guys making their living in the Orlando bubble will be looking fresher than all of us, as long as they agree to a pre-approved hairstyle for television purposes. Though every man will want his beard lined up, some may rather let the ‘fro grow than let someone he doesn’t know touch his hair. Decisions will be made.

Could the NBA bubbleshop serve another purpose besides removing excess hair from certain players’ noggins? We’re not going to rule that out just yet. We’ve heard about the NBA’s Snitch Hotline, so if someone tries to do something nefarious in the NBA bubbleshop, the league will be promptly notified.

Once the bubbleshop opens, we must expect players to shotgun non-baby beers while they wait their turn for their most-coveted barbershop buzzer. You know, you have ample opportunities to create videos for Instagram. If you bring a fish in there you caught on the lake, will the barber clean it for you? Probably not, as this is a catch-and-release league at its very core.

Look for NBA players to have better haircuts than you from inside of the bubble.
