Watch Eloy Jimenez’s preseason grand slam against the Cubs.
Eloy Jimenez and the Chicago White Sox just became a force to be reckoned with, and it’s not even the regular season yet.
Watch as Jimenez obliterates the Chicago Cubs with a grand slam in the first inning to bump the lead to 5-0 going into the second inning. But probably even better than the epic grand slam was the whopper of a burn the White Sox laid on Chicago Cubs’ Yu Darvish.
“Yu live Yu learn,” the tweet says. OUCH.

The baseball season thus far has been anything but normal. From COVID-19 tests to players opting out it’s nice to see some things are still normal … baseball is still f-ing exciting!
Eloy Jimenez has a long history of greatness
Jimenez was the best international free agent for 2013 and now, in 2020 he’s showing he’s still got it. In 2019 he signed a six-year $43 million contract which included two option years which could potentially equal a $75 million contract. It was the biggest contract ever for a player with no service time before his major-league debut.
The White Sox will open their official season on July 27 when they face the Cleveland Indians.
