The Mets added one more cutout into their stadium — one of the late New York Post photographer Anthony Causi, who died from the coronavirus in April.
The New York Mets are having fans pay for a cardboard cutout of themselves to have their own seat at Citi Field for the 2020 season.
But the Mets added a cutout of their own — that of Anthony Causi, who died from complications of the coronavirus on April 12 at the age of 48.
Causi’s cutout has been placed in the photo-well next to the Mets dugout at Citi Field.

Causi had been a photographer with the New York Post since 1994 and was a fixture at every venue in New York, from both professional baseball stadiums to Madison Square Garden. The Yankees held a moment of silence for Causi before their intrasquad game against the Mets on Sunday night. Causi is survived by his wife and two children.
