Comic-Con@Home: How to get this year’s exclusive Funko Pops!

Comic-Con Funko Pops! are easier to get than ever this year. Here’s how to snag them!

If you’ve ever been to San Diego Comic-Con, you’ll know that trying to buy an exclusive Funko Pop! during the convention can be kind of a hassle. With the lottery system, you had to enter a time to be able to visit the Funko booth. And with that comes waiting in line and planning your schedule around when you’ll be able to visit the booth.

Comic-Con 2020 puts Funko fans in a unique situation, though. With everything being done online through Comic-Con @Home, that means there’s no exhibit hall, which means there’s no Funko booth. But don’t fret, there will still be Funko Pop! exclusives that are special to Comic-Con this year.

Here’s how it works. Comic-Con’s exclusive Pops! will be sold in two different ways. According to the SDCC Unofficial Blog, on Wednesday, January 22 (the first day of the convention), the Funko Shop will begin selling exclusives online at 5 p.m. PT. Slightly after that at 9 p.m. PT, online retailers will begin to sell their Comic-Con exclusive Funko Pops! as well. (Typically, most Comic-Con Pops! would be sold at the convention before heading to retailers, but this year, that step has been cut out.)
