1. Aggies finish 10-2 (7-2), 2nd in SEC West, Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic

Yes, you read that correctly. As you know, I already predicted the Texas A&M Aggies to beat the LSU Tigers. So where do these two losses occur for the Aggies? Well, the Aggies start off their season 5-0 but, take their first blemish of the 2020 season on the road versus the Auburn Tigers. As for their second loss, it is pretty obvious that it comes at the hands of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

This performance earns the Aggies a second-place finish in the SEC West and a spot in their first-ever New Year’s Six Bowl, in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. And for the fun of it, let’s just say they play the Group of Five at-large bid, the Cincinnati Bearcats. (One extra bold prediction for you).

This would be the 11th straight season the Aggies make a bowl game, 10th straight season of finishing with a winning record and would be just their third season finishing the season with a winning record in conference play since joining the SEC in 2012. Again, there are a lot of aspirations here but Jimbo has built a reputation that is respected by everyone involved in college football and if there was ever a season that he and the Aggies made the jump, it is this season.

2020 is very important for the Aggies’ football program as they are looking get over the hump and it is my slightly bold prediction that Texas A&M does just that and sets themselves up for success in the years to follow.

So there you have it. Do you agree with what we have to say about the Aggies? Will everything play out well for Texas A&M in 2020? Or is another 8-win season on the horizon once again?
