34. . Wing. Portland Trail Blazers. Josh Green. 14. player

The Blazers’ backcourt is set for the foreseeable future and while it’s not clear if any of their bigs — Jusuf Nurkic, Zach Collins or Hassan Whiteside — is a long-term answer in the frontcourt, the biggest need is on the wing. Particularly for a player who can help space the floor but also take a primary defensive matchup and has the versatility to handle both big and small wings.

There are several players available in this range who fit the bill but Green might have the most upside as a point-of-attack defender. He looks a little small to handle bigger wings but he has the strength and wingspan (6-foot-10) to hold up. His shooting is still a bit of a question mark — he shot 36.1 percent but on just 83 attempts, but there are other solid indicators like a 78.0 free-throw percentage (although it would be nice to see him shooting off screens a bit more).

He’s not a home run pick but he can help in the near-term and he fills a well-defined hole on Portland’s current roster.
