We have a full slate of baseball today, but as per usual, it’s chopped up. The Braves and Mets start early in New York. If playing that showdown, try to grab deGrom, but don’t be afraid to use Freddie Freeman (if he plays), who has three career homers against deGrom in 54 at bats.

The next two oddballs are the Reds and Rays who start in the hour before the other 11 games. In the classic mode, use Morton and Sonny Gray and as many Reds righties as you can fit. There are value Rays righties if you want to take a shot at Ryu as well. That will be my approach. It is worth noting that both Moose and Joey Votto have homered against Matt Boyd despite being lefties.

That leaves an 11-game main slate that is stacked with great pitching. We’ll explore that first, then stack options, then a few BvP warriors to finish off your builds with.

The only real rain threat is in Philly, but the game should play. It will be humid in Texas, Philly, St. Louis, and Houston, so watch for extra flying baseballs in those areas. Remember, we’re starting in July and not April. We jump right into jumping baseballs!

These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. I recommend checking out RotoBallers for optimizers and other statistical tools to help put your best lineup forward.
