LeBron James was caught on camera pulling ice out of his pants.

LeBron James continues to play at such an elite level so it is easy to forget he is 35 years old. That is not an insult to other 35-year-olds, but that is a lifetime of work for a basketball player.

Yet he shows no signs of slowing down and has used a training regiment that has kept him lean and durable throughout his career, aside from a nagging injury that cost him time last season. One aspect of his regimen may involve something a bit odd to some. See for yourself.

There is a grey-bearded LeBron, pulling an ice pack out of his pants and offering up a bit of a wince. Hey, if it works it works. Let’s just make sure to throw that ice away as soon as possible.

James and the Lakers took on the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday in exhibition action and the NBA legend finished with 12 points and five assists in 15 minutes on the floor. He also added three rebounds and threw down a few dunks as he begins to ramp up for another title chase.

Winning the championship in 2020 will be an all-time great feat for whoever comes out on top. James wants that title as much as anyone else and it may take a few unorthodox methods such as putting ice down his pants to reach that mountaintop.

Is he just icing his groin? That is entirely possible, but it is funnier to assume otherwise and we could all use a few laughs with everything going on right now.
