Donald Trump is too busy to throw out the Yankees first pitch.

President Donald Trump was spotted playing golf with former Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre this weekend but now says he’s too busy to throw out the New York Yankees first pitch. Maybe he’s just not a fan of baseball?

Trump took to Twitter to break hearts with the news.

Why won’t Donald Trump throw out the first pitch?

He cites being busy with the “China Virus” and our economy and won’t be making it to the Aug. 15 appearance for the New York Yankees vs. the Boston Red Sox.

Aw, too bad. So sad.

Perhaps Trump saw how terrible Dr. Anthony Fauci’s first pitch went and thought better of making an even bigger fool of himself than he does on the daily.

Yankees star Giancarlo Stanton predicted this would happen on Saturday.

“I’m not positive that that’s going (to be) a for-sure thing happening,” Stanton (h/t Brendan Kuty of NJ.com). “But, at the same time, we’ll get there when we get there. That’s in August. It’s not something I need to worry about now.”

We wonder who they’ll find to replace him.
