DraftKings MLB Picks July 26: Greinke’s Sunday funday

Our first DraftKings MLB Sunday is full of matinee games. We have an 11-game monster that runs through all of the 3pm eastern games. While we don’t have the star power of the first couple of days, there are still some nice pieces out there.

More from DFS

For the short slate of afternoon games, I would go with Ohtani or Zac Gallen at pitcher. Mike Trout has four career homers against Mike Fiers and Pujols has three. The rest of the lineup will be A’s targeting the Angels bullpen or some Arizona pieces thrown at Richards.

The two game classic night slate will be interesting. I’ll use Newcomb and Julio Urias at pitcher and stacking against Porcello. I’ll fill that out with whichever Dodgers I can afford.

It has been a solid start to the season following pitchers with good home splits like Matz and Hendricks. Stacking bats in the Minnesota-White Sox series has proven quite lucrative as well.

Baseball season turns us all into amateur meteorologists. Rain wont affect anything today, but the humidity of July will affect the games in Chicago, Houston, and St. Louis. The wind blowing out to  left at New Comiskey U.S. Cellular Guaranteed Rate Field Park could increase the offense in what has already been a high scoring series. The wind is also blowing out to dead center at Wrigley. It’s going to be a hot, but fun, day in Chicago for baseball.

These tips are based mostly on past performance. This is a nice tool for building a lineup, but should not be the only pieces of information you use. I recommend checking out RotoBallers for optimizers and other statistical tools to help put your best lineup forward.
