4. Corey Davis, Tennessee Titans

Davis has been a massive disappointment since the Titans drafted him fifth overall out of Western Michigan in 2017. His best season came in 2018 (65 receptions for 891 yards and four touchdowns). The team also declined his fifth-year option for 2021, and this week he was placed on the active/PUP list before training camp even starts.

In June team website writer Jim Wyatt reported the Titans’ coaches still “really like” Davis. Being subjected to Marcus Mariota at quarterback for two-plus seasons, along with a run-first offense, has almost naturally stunted Davis. But when Ryan Tannehill took over last season, he clearly favored A.J. Brown as Davis topped 50 yards in just three of the 12 games he had with Tannehill (including the playoffs).

With nothing committed to him beyond his season, the Ravens can easily take a flier on Davis and see if being in a more talent-laden and more fully functioning offense unlocks him. The Titans clearly have no real plans for him, this year or beyond, so the trade price is sure to be low.
