The SEC is the nation’s premier conference for college football, but which five teams have the conference’s best uniforms?

With Week 1 of college football quickly approaching and major conferences opting to play conference-only schedules due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 season figures to be an exciting one.

The SEC was already college football’s most competitive conference, and perennial College Football Playoff contenders like Alabama and Georgia figure to have tougher roads to the postseason than ever.

However, the conference-only schedule will also provide some of the best uniforms matchups of the season. With that in mind, here are the top five football uniforms in the SEC.

5. Georgia Bulldogs

While the Georgia Bulldogs have a great color scheme and fantastic uniforms, they check in at fifth on this list simply due to their competition. The all-white away uniforms are some of the nicest in the SEC, and the Bulldogs juxtapose black and red very well on all of their jerseys.

However, Georgia’s uniforms simply lack some of the features that other SEC uniforms have. They do not have the classic look that Alabama and Tennessee can boast, and the helmet is somewhat boring compared to teams like the LSU Tigers.

A strong color scheme isn’t everything when it comes to uniforms, and Georgia’s jerseys come off as somewhat plain in comparison to some of the conference’s other looks.

This is not to say that they are bad. In fact, they are better uniforms than most teams across the country can boast. However, in the SEC, that simply is not enough to take the title of the conference’s best uniform.
