Man City vs. Real Madrid live stream: Watch Champions League online
By Warren Pegg
Man City face Real Madrid at the Etihad on Friday, August 7. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Manchester City certainly haven’t wasted any time in taking advantage of the Court of Arbitration for Sport’s controversial decision to overturn the European ban imposed on the club by UEFA.
Nathan Ake and Ferran Torres have both already been signed, from Bournemouth and Valencia respectively, although Leroy Sane has finally left for Bayern Munich after a long-running transfer saga.
When Real Madrid lost the first leg of this tie 1-2 at home – almost six months ago now – it felt to many observers like the contest was more or less over. However, their consistent form following the restart, which has seen them win La Liga for only the third time since 2008, means that they go into this game full of confidence.
James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale have been omitted from the match squad altogether, while captain Sergio Ramos is suspended and Marcelo seemingly hasn’t yet returned to full fitness following an injury.
