NBA DFS picks August 10: Dallas does things the Hardaway

For as good as yesterday’s NBA DFS slate was, today’s is the exact inverse of that. Players are sitting all over the place, and I honestly want to wave the white flag and not play this at all. Oh, come on. I wouldn’t leave you hanging like that.

Let’s see who wont be participating in today’s festivities. I’m not putting the opted out guys on here anymore. I think we all know who’s not in the bubble by now.

Out: Luka Doncic (90 fantasy points is exhausting!), Kristaps Porzingis (“knee”), Domantas Sabonis (foot), Will Barton (knee), Dennis Schroder (paternity), Bojan Bogdanovic (wrist), Kelly Oubre (knee), Kendrick Nunn (quarantine), Dorian Finney-Smith (hip), Aron Baynes (knee), Jeremy Lamb (knee), Gary Harris (hip), Kentavius Caldwell-Pope (ankle), Nigel Williams-Goss (ankle).

Questionable: T.J. Warren (foot), Donovan Mitchell (leg), Steven Adams (leg), Nerlens Noel (ankle), Danny Green (hip), Andre Roberson (foot).

So Giannis, LeBron, and A.D. are probable. What’s the over/under on minutes for all of them? Set it at 30 and I’ll take the under on all three. All of the injured Heat expect to play, so that value is gone.

I had a solid overall day thanks to being heavy on Harden, but I didn’t have enough Bazley. A dud by Trent didn’t help either.

Back by popular demand is the trifecta, where I attempt to pick the top three point scorers of the day. All three top scorers yesterday were guards. Lillard and Harden weren’t surprising. Austin Rivers dropping 60 certainly was.

Today is going to be harder. Let’s go with Booker, Hardaway, and Jimmy Butler.
