Andrew McCutchen was throwing balls into the stands for the cutout fans and the video of it is hilarious.

Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen has always had a way with fans. Remember when he was still on the Pirates and a clip of him giving two young fans some balls and wrist bands went viral? Of course you do.

Those kinds of moments is what makes the game so special. Unfortunately because of the coronavirus, McCutchen hasn’t been able to have those same kind of chances to make fans’ days.

Regardless, that isn’t going to stop ‘Cutch’ from having some fun. In fact, he’s going to keep on having a blast with fans in the stands even if they’re not real. Wait, what? You’ll see exactly what we’re talking about in the clip below.

We don’t deserve you, Mr. McCutchen. As you can see in the video the Phillies posted on their official Twitter account, Cutch is loving his interaction with the cutout fans. Hey, if there’s a souvenir to be sent, McCutchen will be the one who will always be ready to deliver.

As funny as the video is, it’s kind of sad in a way. You can tell McCutchen misses seeing some familiar fans donning their finest Phillies gear in the outfield bleachers. Philadelphia is known for having some of the most passionate fans in the world.

That’s surely the case for the Phillies, who have seen the passion in the fan base skyrocket ever since they signed Bryce Harper to his mega-deal. The team also brought in McCutchen, who wasted no time in winning over everyone in the City of Brotherly Love.
