Man City vs. Lyon live stream: Watch Champions League online
By Warren Pegg
Man City face Lyon at the Estadio Jose Alvalade on Saturday, Aug.15. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Pep Guardiola is trying to reach his first Champions League final since Barcelona lifted the trophy back in 2011, while the best that Manchester City have done in this competition is their semi-final exit to Real Madrid in 2016 when Manuel Pellegrini was in charge.
Sergio Aguero is unavailable as he’s yet to fully recover from knee surgery, although he could potentially feature on Wednesday if City progress.
Lyon fully deserved to overcome Juventus over two legs in the previous round, and they managed a win and a draw against City when the two sides met in the group stages last season.
The likes of Nabil Fekir, Ferland Mendy and Tanguy Ndombele have moved on since then, but as Lyon showed against Juve last Friday, they still have plenty of young talent in their ranks. That’s especially true in midfield, where Houssem Aouar, 22, and 20-year-old Maxence Caqueret both shone as their side overcame the Italian champions.
The Champions League match between Man City and Lyon will be broadcast live on CBS. Live streaming is available on CBS All Access, which you can access with your cable or satellite subscriptions, either online or through the CBS All Access app.
