Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon has tree trunks for thighs and that may be selling the second-round pick’s quads a little bit short.

Packers running back AJ Dillon doesn’t skip leg day like the Chad’s who frequent your local gym.

The second-round pick out of Boston College is listed at 6-feet and 247 pounds, but most of that weight has to be centered on his thighs because this dude has never skipped a leg day in his life.

Dillon showed up to Packers training camp looking to be in the best shape of his life and ready to run through a brick wall with thighs that look like they could squat a horse.

AJ Dillon must work out

Check out this image of Dillon and his thunderous thighs taken by ESPN’s Rob Demovsky that is going viral on Saturday morning.

It came as a little bit of a surprise when the Packers spent a second-round pick on Dillon in the 2020 NFL Draft. Not that Dillon wasn’t a productive player at Boston College where he had 1,685 yards and 14 touchdowns in his final year, but because of the breakout season running back Aaron Jones enjoyed. And on the heels of the Packers drafting Jordan Love out of Utah State with their first-round pick, it appeared the Packers were intent on stocking the second-string portion of their depth chart.

However, after the initial shock wore off, Dillon brings a different skill-set to the Packers backfield than that of Jones, who will still see the majority of work as the starter. But Dillon is a bigger, bruising, hulking monster of a runner that can get the dirty yards in the middle of the trenches.

At nearly-250 pounds, Dillon is bigger than many linebackers in the NFL today and can use his power to punish opposing defenses and batter them and wear them down for Jones to run past them on runs to the perimeter.

This could be the newest version of thunder and lightning in the NFL.
