Cincinnati Reds pitcher Trevor Bauer didn’t hold back in going after Scott Boras on Twitter.
For veteran hurler Trevor Bauer, the man has never been one to shy away from letting everyone know exactly what he’s thinking. Especially on Twitter, Bauer has consistently called people out and even clapped back at ruthless fans.
On Saturday, the Reds stud pitcher had a new target: popular baseball agent Scott Boras. Bauer is apparently furious with Boras right now and went after him hard in a couple of tweets.

Bauer blasted Boras and also sent a special message to all players in the bigs, letting them know that Boras doesn’t care about anyone but himself.
Scott Boras: wants to shut my vlog down, is not a friend of the people or fans, is not a fan of players marketing themselves, is not a fan of marketing his players.

PSA to all the players reading this, he doesn’t care about you. He cares about himself and his ego. Be smart.
This all started after Bauer announced on his Twitter that he’ll be working on a ‘vlog’ to give somewhat of a behind-the-scenes look at what life has been like for teams playing in the middle of the pandemic. Bauer’s thought was that he’d be able to share how the players and coaches are feeling right now in the middle of chaos at times.
Per Bauer, though, Boras found out about his vlog idea and is quickly trying to shut it down. Bauer has taken great exception with this, which is why he felt the need to go after Boras with quite the hurtful social media post.
This isn’t the first time Bauer and Boras have had issues. In late May, Bauer called Boras out in the middle of the MLB and MLBPA discussions on the then potential return of baseball during the pandemic.
Hearing a LOT of rumors about a certain player agent meddling in MLBPA affairs. If true — and at this point, these are only rumors — I have one thing to say... Scott Boras, rep your clients however you want to, but keep your damn personal agenda out of union business.

Boras and Bauer will not be exchanging Christmas cards soon, that much we know for sure. Don’t be surprised if Bauer decides to hop back on Twitter soon and keep going after Boras. He’s clearly fired up and has no problem bashing the agent.
