Cleveland Browns linebacker Mack Wilson was carted off the field on Tuesday with a serious-looking injury.

When will the bad luck end for the Cleveland Browns?

On Tuesday, the team saw star running back Nick Chubb take a vicious hit, which resulted in him getting tested for a possible concussion. Now, even more concerning injury news has arrived, this time on the defensive side of the ball.

During practice, linebacker Mack Wilson was hard at work but went down and was unable to get back up. He was carted off the field with a leg injury, which obviously is a terrible sign so early on during training camp.

Mack Wilson is looking to have a breakout campaign for the Cleveland Browns in 2020, but there’s concern over his leg injury

Wilson is entering his second year in the league. During his rookie season with the Browns in 2019, the 6-foot-1, 240-pounder appeared in 16 games, starting 14 of them. For the year, he posted an impressive 82 tackles and added one sack.

For the Browns, they really can’t afford any kind of major injury for their young stars. This team had big expectations last season, but things couldn’t have gone much worse. Cleveland ended the season with a rough 6-10 record, and there was word that multiple star players were asking other teams to “come get me” for a trade throughout the year.

Things were only made worse when Odell Beckham Jr. failed to develop any kind of strong chemistry with Baker Mayfield, which clearly had a negative effect on the offense as a whole. With both Chubb and Wilson suffering injuries on the same day, the morale around the team is undoubtedly low.

If the football gods are listening, Browns fans are surely hoping Wilson’s injury isn’t a serious one and that he’ll be able to get back on the field soon to prepare for Week 1.

Next. Nick Chubb taking a hard hit and getting injured is already bad news for Browns. dark
