Chicago Bears fans will love what veteran wideout Cordarrelle Patterson had to say about quarterbacks Nick Foles and Mitchell Trubisky.

It goes without saying, but the quarterback play in recent years for the Chicago Bears simply has not been good enough. With such a strong defense, many out there feel like Chicago has wasted its incredible talent with poor offensive production.

That’s why the team traded for Nick Foles this offseason to push and presumably take the starting job away from former first-round pick Mitchell Trubisky.

However, the former North Carolina standout isn’t ready to give away his job without a fight, as he, along with Foles, has impressed early on during camp. That’s what veteran receiver Cordarrelle Patterson wanted to let Bears fans everywhere know.

Nick Foles is widely expected to be the Chicago Bears’ new starting quarterback this season

As you can see from the tweet above, not only has Patterson been impressed with the job Trubisky has been doing, saying he looks like a different person, but his quote on Foles is tremendous.

Patterson checks in at 6-foot-2, 238 pounds, while Foles stands at 6-foot-6, 243 pounds. There’s no doubt he’s a massive human, which has certainly caught the attention of Patterson and the rest of the players in Chicago.

Foles, who won a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles, is widely expected to win the starting job for Chicago’s Week 1 showdown against the Detroit Lions on Sept. 13.

The Chicago faithful will once again have high expectations for this team this season. Should they be able to stun Green Bay and Minnesota to win the NFC North, it’d be a major accomplishment. It’ll all come down to the play of Foles or Trubisky, but Patterson’s latest comments will sure provide some hope for all the Bears supporters out there.
