The Raiders had a questionable post about the 2020 season.

The Raiders made the move to Las Vegas in 2020 and are looking for a change of fortune in their new home. The team finished 7-9 in 2019 to finish with a third-straight losing season. In fact, the team only has one winning season since reaching the Super Bowl during the 2002 season.

A new home means the team can cultivate a new identity. Instead, the social media team for the Raiders posted a questionable caption on a recent training camp video.

Raiders ready to run back a losing season

What exactly are they running back? The goal should be a fresh start and not anything remotely close to the play seen since Jon Gruden took over the job.

The best thing the team can do is forget the 2019 season happened. Antonio Brown provided enough drama for a decade and a promising 6-4 start ended with a 7-9 season as the team left Oakland with a whimper.

This is one of those moves that is tricky because the team is keeping the same name. The organization wants to keep its old fans while also gaining new ones in Las Vegas. So there can’t be too much talk of starting over from the organization itself.

However, there had to be a long list of other taglines to go with in this scenario. Is this being a bit harsh? Yes, but the Raiders just can’t seem to get out of their own way with becoming a punchline and this provides even more fodder for fans.

This one tweet has set up a perfect motto for fans of the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, and Los Angeles Chargers to use against the Raiders this season. It will be up to Gruden’s squad to officially change the narrative.
