This Sunday, the FanDuel/DFS community will be presented with the final round of the 2020 Northern Trust. Let’s take a look at the final round slate from a fantasy golf perspective!

Before I discuss my FanDuel player selections I want to clearly state that this article is specifically focused on the final round contest. The final round contest is vastly different with regard to scoring than the traditional contest offered by FanDuel for DFS golf.

If you are not familiar with the rules for the final round contest I recommend that you check out the FanDuel website for more details.

Here are my FanDuel player selections for the final round of the 2020 Northern Trust.

Dustin Johnson $11,600

The 36 year old American has three top 12 finishes in his last five events on the PGA Tour, including a win at the Travelers Championship in June.

As of this writing (Friday evening), after two rounds of play at the 2020 Northern Trust, Johnson is currently in first place with a cumulative two round score of 15 under par. It should also be mentioned that Johnson fired a bogey free score of 60 in today’s second round at the 2020 Northern Trust.

Daniel Berger $10,800

Berger has four top 13 finishes in his last five events on the PGA Tour, including a win at the Charles Schwab Challenge in June.

When playing final round DFS golf contests, I like to look at key player statistics for the event as it is ongoing. Having stated that, let’s take a look at how Daniel Berger is performing in relation to the field. After two rounds of play at the 2020 Northern Trust, in relation to the field, Berger is currently ranked third in strokes gained off the tee, 23rd in strokes gained ball striking, and ninth in strokes gained putting.

Scottie Scheffler $9,900

The 24 year old American has three consecutive top 22 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a fourth place result at the PGA Championship two weeks ago.

Scheffler is currently ranked fourth in par four birdie or better percentage (22.91%) and 15th in actual scoring average (69.43) on the PGA Tour.

Matthew Wolff $9,600

Wolff has played 19 events on the PGA Tour this season. In those 19 events just mentioned, Wolff has an impressive eight top 25 finishes, including a fourth place result at the PGA Championship two weeks ago.

Kevin Kisner $9,500

The American has three consecutive top 25 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a third place result at the Wyndham Championship last week.

Upon completion of two rounds of play at the 2020 Northern Trust, in relation to the field, Kisner is currently ranked 13th in strokes gained approach and 14th in strokes gained tee to green. Additionally, Kisner will start the third round of the 2020 Northern Trust tied for seventh with a score of 11 under par.

Brendan Steele $8,400

Steele has three top 10 finishes this season, including a sixth place result at the Travelers Championship in June. In my opinion, Steele presents outstanding fantasy value at a FanDuel price of only $8,400.
