The Las Vegas Raiders surprised season ticket owners for their inaugural season with a mini replica of Allegiant Stadium.

The Las Vegas Raiders welcomed their new season ticket holders with a surprise gift, sending a mini replica of Allegiant Stadium with the ticket package.

The nearly $2 billion stadium, per Business Insider, figures to be one of the best new home fields in the NFL, and dedicated Raiders fans should be proud to display the collectible.

While Allegiant Stadium will not host fans this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is head-and-shoulders above the Oakland Coliseum, which they were forced to share with the Oakland Athletics.

Allegiant Stadium is a serious upgrade for the Raiders

With overlap between football and baseball seasons, players often had injury risk playing on the dirt field. It remains to be seen how big of a fan base the Raiders can build in their new home, but players and fans will certainly enjoy the nicer home.

Las Vegas hopes to return to contention in its inaugural season, and Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock have begun to build a promising roster, with young players like Maxx Crosby, Henry Ruggs and Josh Jacobs expected to make huge impacts in 2020.

While there may not be many fans buying season tickets due to the pandemic, the Allegiant Stadium collectible should at least help the Raiders endear themselves to fans in a new city. As with any relocation, building up the fan base will be a difficult task.

However, with so much investment in a new stadium and the decision to send gifts to new season ticket holders, Las Vegas appears up to the task, and fans in the city should be excited for their first taste of NFL football.
