New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill and his wife Emily are officially new parents.

It’s been quite the spring and summer for young New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill. Back in April, he inked a two-year, $21 million deal with the Saints. That new contract earned him $16 million in guaranteed money.

While that’s a whole lot of cash, his excitement then probably doesn’t even come close to what he’s feeling right now. Over the weekend, Hill and his wife Emily took to social media to announce they’re the proud new parents of a healthy baby boy.

Taysom Hill will now enter the new 2020 season as a proud dad for the New Orleans Saints

You can see just how much this moments means to both Hill and his wife. He’s holding on to that new baby with twice as much security as he hangs on to the football for Sean Payton and the New Orleans offense.

Ever since he arrived to the Saints, Hill has been a fan-favorite player because of how explosive he can be. He’s quite the utility player for New Orleans and isn’t a prototypical quarterback. With the Saints featuring Drew Brees, they’ve consistently used different packages to bring in Hill and let him work his magic in the offense.

Last season, Hill caught 19 balls for 234 yards and six touchdowns, while only throwing for 55 yards on six attempts. While some New Orleans fans were worried Hill would end up leaving town this past offseason, the front office made sure that wouldn’t happen by finalizing that two-year deal.

With Hill making plays early on for the Saints, fans can’t wait to see the entire team hit the field for some Week 1 action. The organization dreams of winning another Super Bowl this season. Should they get the job done, you better believe Hill will be celebrating in style with his son.

Next. It’s Super Bowl or bust for the Saints this season. dark
