Bayern Munich face Paris Saint-Germain at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon on Sunday, August 23. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

A new European club champion will be crowned on Sunday as heavy favorites Bayern Munich take on Paris Saint-Germain at Lisbon’s Estadio da Luz with no spectators due to the ongoing pandemic.

The Bavarian giants have steamrolled through to the final, highlighted by their 8-2 defeat of Barcelona in the quarterfinals. The French side, meanwhile, had an easier road after overcoming Atalanta in the quarterfinals and RB Leipzig in the semifinals.

The Champions League resumed with four Round of 16 second-leg matches earlier month after the coronavirus pandemic put the sports world on hold back in March. In order to fit the tournament in August, the rest of the knockout phase was played in Lisbon with a single-elimination format.

The revised tournament brought with it some upsets: RB Leipzig shocked Atletico Madrid and Lyon ousted Manchester City. As a result, the semifinals featured two Franco-German matchups with PSG and Bayern Munich both defeating RB Leipzig and Lyon, respectively, by a score of 3-0.

This year’s final is rife with storylines, including the fact that both Bayern and PSG can capture the treble after both teams won the league-cup double this season. If the final is tied after 90 minutes, the game will go to two 15-minute overtime periods. If the game is still tied after 120 minutes, it will be settled via a penalty-kick shootout.

The Champions League final between Bayern and PSG will be broadcast live on CBS. Live streaming is available on CBA All Access, which you can access with your cable or satellite subscriptions, either online or through the CBS All Access app.
