Andy Reid wants to win more Super Bowls and eat more cheeseburgers

Fresh off of his first Super Bowl win, Peter King says Andy Reid feels like he has not changed much, noting that he still loves cheeseburgers.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid finally captured his elusive first championship in February, topping the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 after a thrilling fourth quarter comeback. With the longtime Eagles and Chiefs coach finally getting a ring after 21 years, fans would not be surprised to see a title change him.

However, according to longtime friend and NFL reporter Peter King, Reid does not feel like the Lombardi Trophy has changed his life at all. King asked Reid just how much of an effect his champion status has had on him, with the 62-year-old offensive guru offering a hilarious response.

“Well not much, not much. Not much. I still love cheeseburgers,” Reid said, according to King.

The Chiefs head coach is already beloved for his innovative schemes, jolly demeanor, and vibrant Hawaiian shirts, but the cheeseburger comment may just belong in the Andy Reid Hall of Fame.

With a repeat on his mind and all of his cornerstone pieces locked up for the future, Reid can focus on cheeseburgers and other simple pleasures, knowing that he was plugged the only hole on his Hall of Fame resume.

Reid very well may add another ring in 2020, with the Chiefs once again expected to be one of the Super Bowl favorites. With the addition of explosive running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the first round of the draft, Kansas City’s offense should only get better this season, a terrifying thought for the rest of the NFL.

The Chiefs kick off their title defense on Thursday, September 10 as 10-point favorites against the Houston Texans, who they defeated in the divisional round last season after falling behind 24-0. Reid and company will look to start off a new dynasty with a second straight championship, as Kansas City quickly becomes the epicenter of the NFL world.
