Mike Trout isn’t thrilled about flying out of Houston during a hurricane.
The Los Angeles Angels left their state in the middle of a heatwave and massive forest fires to escape to … a hurricane. The Angels were set to face the Houston Astros on Thursday but the game was postponed due to Tropical Storm Laura. They will now play a Tuesday doubleheader to make up the difference.
But Mike Trout isn’t all that happy about the circumstances and can you blame him?
“We better not be taking off in the middle of a hurricane,” Trout told reporters. Trout is also reportedly talking to his “weather guys” which we find hilarious. Who has their own weatherman?

There are only 31 games left this season
The season is nearing the downturn with just 31 games left to play, which means each canceled or rescheduled game means less downtime and more stress for each team. Add a natural disaster on to that and there’s a headache waiting to happen.
The Angels are currently ranked last in the American League West and have one of the worst records in the MLB.
