NBA DFS picks August 24: Will there be another Lake show against Portland?

This is the last four game NBA DFS tournament for at least two more days as Philly and the depleted Nets were evicted from the bubble by Boston and Toronto respectively yesterday. Indiana is the only team in danger of being sent home today, and they once again will be without Sabonis. Who else is sitting? Let’s check that first.

Out: Russell Westbrook (quad), Domantas Sabonis (foot), Jonathan Isaac (knee), Michael Carter-Williams (foot), Zach Collins (ankle), Rajon Rondo (back), Mo Bamba (coronavirus).

Questionable: Aaron Gordon (hamstring), Steven Adams (knee), Jae Crowder (ankle), Andre Iguodala (hip), Derrick Jones (ankle).

Gordon still hasn’t played since August 5th. The Magic are wisely taking it easy with Gordon. I thought they may try to get him back sooner after taking Game 1, but Orlando is placing an emphasis on the future. Keep an eye on this as Gordon’s status will help shape your lineups for the rest of the day. Even if Gordon does play, he will likely be on a minutes limit.

Rondo healed his thumb but tweaked his back badly enough to miss Games 3 and 4. Lakers guards are still very risky in his stead though.

I had no Murray yesterday, so I won .18 cents on my four entries. Today will hopefully be better.
