The New Orleans Saints have a really good shot to win the Super Bowl.

There are times in the NFL when it feels like a team is due to win a Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs felt like they were due for a win last season and came through with a Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl LIV.

That certainly feels like a possibility for the New Orleans Saints, who have had their fair share of playoff heartbreak in recent years. Let’s take a look at five good reasons why the Saints will be the team to win the Super Bowl in 2020.

5. The Saints have been knocking on the door

There have been few NFL teams with as much regular-season success as the Saints over the past three years. New Orleans has won 37 games in the regular season since 2017 but has suffered three straight brutal postseason losses.

It isn’t easy to win in the NFL, so picking up 37 wins is a sign that the Saints are a really good football team. The playoff woes have come as a result of either bad luck or the referees blowing a critical call.

Those circumstances are very fluky and eventually luck should be in New Orleans’ favor in a big spot. The Saints are talented enough to get back to the playoffs, which should give them a chance to finally burst through the door and reach the Super Bowl.
