NBA DFS picks August 26: Are three heads better than one?

A slate full of stars for our NBA DFS tournaments is a little less star-studded now. The value of the Heat is gone since they sent the Pacers home, but we still have three games and some important injuries to sort through. Let’s get started!

Out: Damian Lillard (knee), Russell Westbrook (quad), Jonathan Isaac (knee), Michael Carter-Williams (foot), Zach Collins (ankle), Rajon Rondo (back), Mo Bamba (coronavirus).

Questionable: Aaron Gordon (hamstring).

LeBron and A.D. have carried questionable tags throughout the bubble, so it’s no surprise that they are listed as such here. However, without Lillard, Portland is going to have trouble keeping up. I’m fading both Lakers stars here. They are going to rest if the game gets out of hand again.

At this point, even if Aaron Gordon plays, he’s going to be on a minutes limit. With Orlando facing elimination, I have a hard time believing they’ll risk a big piece of their future like Gordon. I would lean towards him sitting again.

The Clippers aside from Paul George and Luka were busts, so my lineups went belly up quickly. My Denver-Utah game stack is the only one that held on to cash.
