These college football freshmen are poised to become instant stars when they hit the football field this fall and could be future Heisman winners.

The college football landscape is going to look a lot different this season. Most programs are moving to conference-only schedules, and they will have to rely on talent level more than ever. Some of the biggest programs (Alabama, Oregon, LSU, Michigan) are welcoming in new quarterbacks, while others are looking at a new coaching staff.

One thing that’s for sure is there are going to be a number of freshmen making a difference in major programs across the nation. There are dozens of freshmen expected to crack lineups, even as a minor contributor. Some will do a lot more than others. This season, those freshmen could even impact the biggest programs in the country looking to take a step towards the National Championship.

Freshmen become superstars for the first time really in college football. They are stars in their own right in high school, but they don’t take a national recognition until they’re making the rounds for a college program. This year, there will be a lot of players becoming famous. It’s not just because of the situation with the pandemic, but because there are some insane recruits going to programs with holes at their position.

It’s going to be a year of learning. Not only for these freshmen but for the fans watching them.Ā  It’s exciting because the fans get to watch as stars are born, but also a little stressed as they make mistakes in real-time. Either way, as we await the college football season’s start, these 10 freshmen are preparing to make a huge impact on their team’s season.
