With the MLB trade deadline on Monday, itās looking unlikely Josh Hader will make his way to either the Yankees or Dodgers.Ā
Some big-time names have been reported to potentially be on the move in recent weeks, with star Milwaukee Brewers reliever Josh Hader near the top of the list. Countless teams would love to add him to the bullpen.
Among the clubs showing interest has been the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers, two teams who looked primed to go on a World Series run this fall.
However, per a report, itās looking quite unlikely that either team will be able to pull off a last-minute stunner to bring Hader to town.
Yankees have no traction on Hader at moment. Thereās a general belief around game heās more likely than not to stay with Crew. Not a shock for best reliever in game.

Josh Hader has once again been a dominant reliever this season for the Brewers
While this may be a bit of a bummer for both fanbases, it would have taken a major haul to bring Hader to either the Bronx or LA. Heās one of the best relievers in the game and is wanted by so many clubs for good reason: heās an absolute force whenever he gets on the bump.
A talented lefty, Hader is in his fourth season with the Brewers, making two All-Star Game appearances. Thus far in 2020, heās appeared in 10 games for the Brew Crew, posting a 1.86 ERA in 9.2 innings pitches. Heās got 14 strikeouts on the year.
Despite entering the season with high expectations, Milwaukee is 15-18 on the year and is on the outside looking in for postseason action. This is why theyāve been shopping Hader. At this point, however, itās looking less and less likely that heāll be packing his bags and heading to a new city before the deadline comes to a close.
Dodgers are among teams that have checked in on Josh Hader. Not many available players would improve the excellent Dodgers, but heād give them arguably baseballās best bullpen.

For now, we can look forward to Hader continuing his dominant ways for the Brewers the rest of the year, unless something surprising happens at the last minute.
